About me and this website
First thing's first, I'm a great sinner but Christ is a great savior! I love the Lord with all my heart. I believe in Jesus, and that the only way to God is through Him. I guess this is pretty hard core for some people, but in this day and age, I'd rather stand for something than fall for anything.
Secondly, I'm a home educator to two adorable children. My family and I live and learn everyday without the confines of school. We find joy in learning all the time through life experiences, board games, and living books (as what Charlotte Mason calls it). Reading is a venerated past time in our household. So you can imagine that our prized possessions are those that you see on our bookshelves. I'm an obsessive compulsive when it comes to taking care of books and regard clear-tapes and dog-ears as the evils of book 'keeping'.
Lastly, I'm a freelance web developer. I love computers and I think Drupal is the best and most powerful CMS (Content Management System) there is in the www (to me that is the Whole Wide World).
This website is also about those three things I have mentioned: on being a Christian, a home educator, and a geek. Even though this site has gone through several incarnations in the past, I hope it will still serve as an encouragement to stay-at-home and devoted wives, a resource for families on a budget considering to home educate here in the Philippines, and a kindred-spirit-website to those who are open-source enthusiasts like me.
